Can I see a dermatologist right now?

You can start a visit at any time. Because DermatologistOnCall is a store-and-forward platform, there is no need to wait for an appointment. Using the portal, you will tell your dermatologist about your condition and upload 2-9 photos of the affected area. Your dermatologist will then review your information and provide a diagnosis and treatment plan.

How soon can I expect a diagnosis?

After you submit your medical information and photos, you can typically expect your diagnosis and treatment plan within 24 hours or less. All visits are addressed within 3 business days. You may communicate with your dermatologist for up to 30 days concerning your diagnosis and treatment plan using our in-platform messaging tool.

Are online dermatology visits only available for certain conditions?

Sample dermatology group can diagnose over 3,000 skin, hair and nail conditions through their virtual office.

How much does an online dermatology visit cost?

DermatologistOnCall does not accept insurance. However, online care may be covered by certain insurance plans as an out-of-network benefit. You may submit your visit to your carrier for reimbursement. Many of our patients pay for visits using their Health Spending Account (HSA), Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA). Of course, all major credit cards are accepted, too.

Are my prescriptions covered?
